What is an acne scar?

Acne scar is when traces of acne caused pits resulting in uneven surface of skin. It usually occurs because of infection or damaged skin tissue


ICEPICK SCAR Scar with narrow bottom. When the scar is deep into the skin layer and even subcutaneous fat layer



ROLLING SCAR Mostly wide and rounded scar. Regular type of acne scar


BOX SCAR Scar with angles. Usually thin but wide scar and border is clear






Cause of Acne Scar?


  • Worsened acne When pyogenic acne festers seriously, the infection caused by acne spreads deep into the skin and leaves red traces.
  • Mistreated acne If the acne is picked on with finger or squeezed out with unsterilized equipment, it can damage the skin tissue and acne scar can form.








STEP 1. E2 Matrix + Einxel



  • E2 Matrix precisely transfers heat to the skin at regular intervals through tiny matrix hole. It is a treatment method that uses high-frequency energy to increase collagen and regenerate normal cells to treat acne scars.




  • Einxel High-frequency energy is released from the tip of tiny needle to stimulate fibroblast in the skin layer This treatment destroys old collagen from skin layer and produces new collagen and elastin fiber, so it is an effective treatment for treating acne scar and also acne itself.
  • Einxel high-frequency can do personalized treatments depending on the depth of needle, the power of high-frequency, and duration of treatment.





STEP 2. Subsicion



  • Subsicion is used if fiberization has started in the bottom of the scar, it cuts off the fibrous tissue for the pitted scar to fill itself up again. It is especially effective for scars that are wide and round in shape and not too deep in depth.








STEP 3. Dot Peeling


  • Dot peeling applies highly concentrated TCA in the pitted scar or widened pores to increase collagen synthesis to fill up the scar gradually. With continuous treatment, the filling up of scar area can be seen but with difference between each individual.








DA Dot Peeling Precautions




  • You may experience redness and flaking of skin for about a week after procedure. 
  • When flaking starts to fall off, let it fall off by itself and do not touch. 
  • Certainly avoid drinking alcohol and smoking and activities that involve a lot of sweating such as exercising or having sauna. 
  • Be careful of heat or strong wind on the face and outside factors that may stimulate the skin.

Cautions after Facial Contouring 1.      Posture 1)      Keep your head 20~30 degrees higher than the heart to quickly reduce facial swelling. Maintain this posture for 1 week. 2)      While sleeping, lying on your side can create too much pressure and cause problems so it is best to lie straight on your back. 2.      Dietary Instructions 1)      You can start taking sips of water first 6 hours after surgery and if you feel comfortable, you can start eating rice porridge, and soft bread, tofu, boiled eggs and finely diced foods. 2)      Please avoid dairy products and foods that contain large amount of fiber, as it may cause diarrhea. 3)      It is recommended to consume soft foods and liquids for 1 week after surgery and after 1 week you can consume regular meals. 4)      For 2 weeks, please avoid oily, spicy, salty foods and for 2 months, avoid hard and chewy foods (gum, rice cake, candy, nuts, etc.) and for those who have undergone cheekbone surgery, please
